OpenClaw entered our lives and sparked a buzz, but most people don't know what to do with it.

I think it's a legitimate question: if you're using OpenClaw, why not just use an automation tool like n8n / make / zapier?

Here is why OpenClaw is not a hype, but an actual business use:

• Human in the middle - When you use automation, it's a fixed step-by-step process, but what if things are not perfect? With OpenClaw, you can interject in the middle and make your changes.
• Get access to places that automations can't go - Imagine that you want to take a screenshot of your app (using Puppeteer and AI) or edit something in Adobe Premiere. Automation tools usually don't have access to control local software.
• Try to solve problems dynamically - You want to automate something specific, but realize you are missing data. The bot can adapt, install the missing skills, and do it.

So this article is not about things you can just do with Claude / N8N.

1. Growth Hack Your TikTok

Growth hacking is usually an opportunity in the market that can help you grow much faster, but it's limited by time until everybody else does it / the actual platform finds it.

The biggest growth hack we are seeing today is TikTok slide shows. They get a ridiculous amount of views compared to the effort it takes to make them. They can be automated with AI, and work perfectly with new accounts. Here are the step-by-step instructions you need to take:

1. Get a VPN (if you don't live in the US). I use NordVPN, but you can find others like ExpressVPN. Make sure you buy a dedicated IP (mobile is the best) in the US. Do not buy a datacenter IP; it's easy to track and won't work for you. You have to keep the VPN connected at all times, or TikTok will start showing content for people in your region.
2. Download TikTok and register in the US. Make sure your VPN is on. Put all your phone settings to the US. and remove GPS tracking. You must be logged in all the time. If you have to, buy a new cheap phone for this.
3. Engage with content in your niche. This is super important. You want it so that every time you open the TikTok app, it shows you content for your audience. This is also how TikTok chooses the audience to show your content to.
4. Start automating OpenClaw to post a SlideShow for you on TikTok, you can use @oliverhenry, Larry Skill to make viral content for the Slide Show. Make sure you also register for Postiz to automate your scheduling.
5. Scale more - once you have something that works, you can create more TikTok accounts and post the same Slide Show using Postiz, I have tons of people on Postiz that actually do that, and have more than 10 TikTok accounts connected.
6. Scale even more - TikTok is one channel, but Postiz can schedule to Instagram and YouTube, just connect all your social channels, and tell OpenClaw to schedule it.

You should seize this opportunity before it stops working like any other growth hack.

2. Build a powerful SEO machine

There are tons of AI Slop startups that write articles based on SEO research and might include some YouTube. The problem is that it's almost like just running a search on ChatGPT. It's sloppy and doesn't work.

But you can make it work by writing stuff you can't find anywhere else.

1. Install agent-browser skill to OpenClaw, it's basically a Chrome browser fully controlled by OpenClaw; it's good, unlike the one that comes with OpenClaw. Tell OpenClaw to disable the one that comes with it and never use it.
2. Open the browser yourself in headful mode, connected to a profile, and log in to all the websites for automation. I recommend logging in to your SaaS / social media / Email / SEMRush / Ahrefs / Google Search Console, etc. accounts: agent-browser --profile ~/.myapp-profile openapp.com--headed
3. Install the skill to schedule posts to your CMS; in my case, I installed WordPress (Postiz can also schedule to WordPress)
4. Tell OpenClaw to write an SEO article for you using the agent-browser with the profile "~/.myapp-profile".Tell it your niche, and the title of the article. Tell it to go to SEMRush / Ahrefs / Google Search Console and to check your competitors for keyword opportunities
5. Then scan Reddit / Hackersnews to find good content on the Subject. We don't want LLM Slop.
6. Then go to your SaaS website / Dashboard and start taking screenshots to put into the article.
7. Once you are happy with the results, tell him to make one for you every day.

FYI - agent-browser runs on Playwright (Puppeteer). It can work really well if you run it on your personal computer, since it uses your internet connection. and can also run headful. If you want to run it in the cloud, you would need to do a few more things:

1. Deploy a Docker of Browserless and modify it to use Patchright
2. Buy a mobile proxy from a website like BrightData. Mobile proxies are the most undetectable because they frequently change IP addresses.
3. Use agent-browser with the Proxy, and connect using CDP to Browserless.

These are not super easy steps. It's better to run it from your MAC MINI.

3. Bulild generic SaaS in crowded markets

The more generic your SaaS is, the larger its audience (more money), but also the greater the competition. Back in 2020, if you built an image generator tool, you could make tons of money; some of my friends did. Today, the SaaS that are super generic from the past make a lot of money, but there is almost no opportunity for new companies, everybody must be "Niched", but now you have a completely new Blue Ocean -> CLI.

Postiz, My SaaS is the most generic SaaS you can build, a social media scheduling tool. But I totally changed its approach to be an Agentic one. It means that if you use OpenClaw and want to schedule posts to social media, Postiz will be your best option because of the CLI, why? a lot less code for the agent to write:

• Fewer tokens.
• No Context rot.
• Easier for the LLM to work with without mistakes.

And now I am working on agent-media, a generic CLI tool for generating pictures and video, it leans towards agents so they can easily run a few CLI commands, then write a Postiz CLI command to schedule posts. So what else can you build?

• CLI for content research
• CLI for SEO research
• CLI to make UGCs
• CLI for writing viral content
• CLI for reading emails
• CLI that works with MCPs

You can make it fully agentic, meaning that even registration and payment are handled by the CLI.

Anyway, you get to the point: you must seize the opportunity and be faster than the market dominators to dominate this market.

4. Sell Skills

People are already doing that, and it's very successful. Why? Because a skill is not a tool, it is a result. You don't sell posting on social media. You sell how to make a viral TikTok reel, and people will pay top dollar for it.

You sell your ideas of implementing different tools. My classic example is this: Postiz is a social media scheduling tool. I can write a Skill on how to use Postiz, but I can also write a Skill like Larry on how to make Viral slide shows.

And this is gold, because people don't care about tools; they care about results.

This is not unique to OpenClaw; you can also buy n8n automation templates.

But with OpenClaw, you can modify them on the go and improve them to your liking.

Some of the skills I would write:

• How to make a viral TikTok video about X
• How to make a UGC video about your e-commerce item
• Skills to answer customer support questions, with the right tone.
• Skill for SEO, kind of step-by-step of what I wrote in (2)
• Skill to find vital content about Luxury Cars (be niche)

When you write the skills, you can also add affiliate links from different software, so if you don't have your own SaaS and you give the skill for free, you can make money out of it.

5. How do I know that I am right (My credibility)

I run Postiz, It's a social media scheduling tool. For the last two years, I grinded hard, pushed through $18k in MRR, and used any hype possible along the way, like N8N and MCPs in 2025; they all work great.

But over the last two weeks, I've managed to get Postiz to $28k in MRR, and it looks like the road to $40k in MRR is in the coming days.
